I am taking some time off work before Turkey Day. Yah! And have been looking SO forward to it. Well, actually, have SO many things planned I could stay up 24/7. Yesterday we finished out our fall yardwork. Our leaves, having been totally defeated, lay in neat little (well, not little - huge actually) piles in the woodline. What a wonderful thing this morning to walk out into the light and see frost on the grass! We built our first fire. Always a sign that winter is upon us. We also shopped for the holiday and for deer camp. I am making the stuffing and the dessert for Thanksgiving. This is probably too much for a non-cooking type to take upon herself. LOL.
Other stuff I mean to accomplish the next several days: bathe the dog and zombie cat. laundry. that one is a given. always present and always hated. ride. maybe finish cleaning out my pond garden. goodwill trip. start on holiday decorations. start on a story to go with Sam's photoshoot series. The title of the shoot series is: The Adventure Series.
The opening line of my story: Lonesome was the Queen of Autumn....
